Job Description

Reporting into the Senior Creative Director, the Senior Creative Studio Manager is the strategic driver and owner for the creative process to ensure that in-house Creative Studio projects are delivered on time, on budget, with the most efficient process and allocation of resources.

You will lead the Studio production process, from developing creative workflow processes with multiple departments and teams, to resourcing and outsourcing, production, and asset delivery.

As a point of contact across the business for Creative and Production you are a strong cross functional communicator and you champion collaboration. You will manage a team of producers, and allocate projects and tasks to the in house creative team leading an efficient and engaging team environment

You have a day to day role planning and monitoring project development, resource and workflow while also looking for opportunities to develop and improve processes, add value and increase efficiency. 

Working with:

  • Reporting directly to the Creative Director and responsible for a team of in-house producers, as well as being the Studio Manager for the in-house creative team.

  • XFN:  Marketing Managers and cross functional stakeholders and heads of department and leads; IT, People team, Finance and /accounts

  • External: Producers; Agencies; creative freelancers, suppliers

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the end to end creative process to ensure that all in house Creative Studio projects are delivered on time, on budget, with the most efficient workflow and allocation of resources.

  • Monitoring, reviewing and filtering all incoming creative briefs, ensuring they are clear and thorough, liaising with cross functional brief owners and managers

  • Scoping out and determining the priority, resource, timings and budget for multiple creative and digital projects.

  • As XFN point of contact for creative projects, communicating and liaising between Creative and production teams and multiple departments and stakeholders.

  • Planning and managing timing schedules for all members of the creative and production team. Day to day progress tracking of all projects and resources ensuring productivity and efficiency.

  • Improving the Creative Workflow process; efficient streamlining whilst maintaining the highest quality output.

  • Managing studio budget lines and liaising with finance

  • Overseeing the organisation of Digital and production assets, contracts and licences

  • Scoping, interrogating, and implementing content and project management software, tools and  resources for the department 

  • Monitoring, allocating, booking in and onboarding freelancers, specialist skill set  and agency support where required

  • Holding regular production and creative team meetings, managing direct reports 

  • Negotiating with external suppliers, including agents representing external teams and freelancers.

  • Empathetic team manager focused on the personal and professional development of the team.

  • Proven track record in managing a creative studio/services, extensive experience in Digital project management 

  • Strong Communication and cross functional skills

  • Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and tasks  at one time

  • Personable and empathetic, working effectively with teams with multiple skill sets

  • Strong negotiator and financial controller

  • Able to find ways to increase productivity and efficiency in the process

  • Able to work across a variety of production processes, experienced with multiple project management tools and systems

  • Flexible and able to adapt quickly to changing schedules and priorities

MyMode is composed of 3 working modes: Flex, Office Based and Remote.

Flex (Default)

Flex is our default working mode, meaning all employees will automatically enrol in this mode and there is no application required to enter this mode. Flex employees will be expected to work from the office at least 4 days per month. Teams will determine whether there are set weekly or monthly in-office days based on their operating rhythms and practices. You will need to work with your manager to determine your in-office schedule for your team.

Office Based

This option is for employees who are committing to work from the office for a minimum of 4 days per week. As part of taking on the Office Based working mode you will be able to apply for a permanent desk in the office if you need one, but you won’t need to apply to become an Office Based employee.

Remote

Under the Remote working mode you are able to work anywhere within the country you are employed in. This mode requires around 2- 4 days per year in the office, depending on organisational guidance. You will be able to expense travel if you are asked to attend the office, but not for office attendance by your choice.
