The Role
We are looking for a Paid Media Manager to join our Paid Media Team. Reporting into the Paid Media Lead, you will accelerate our growing paid media execution capabilities across full funnel activations.
We’re looking for an App and Video Specialist with a proven track record of setting up and scaling activity in a dynamic in-house or agency environment. This role will take ownership of the execution, optimisation and reporting across App install and Video channels alongside influencing and contributing to the overarching strategy. The focus will be on app campaigns across Google, Meta and TikTok alongside video campaigns across YouTube; with the opportunity for other paid video channels like Pinterest to fall into this role.
The ideal candidate will love the balance of data and creative. As well as being responsible for conducting in-depth analysis to optimise our activity using our in-house bespoke attribution models, they will be making data-driven optimisations and feed insights into the product, marketing and creative teams alongside using these insights to inform testing roadmaps and strategy.
We are looking for a driven team player who loves collaborating and communicating cross-functionally as this role is in the centre of things and will work closely and collaboratively with various teams within Depop such as Brand Marketing, Insights, Creative and Product.
Responsibilities
Focus primarily on App and Video executions and optimisations in conjunction with wider marketing teams to ensure we hit our collective targets.
Ownership on driving and developing our testing plan across App to best deliver against LTV:CAC objectives.
Ownership on executing, optimising and reporting upper funnel video campaigns to best deliver against reach, frequency and impression objectives.
Maintain and improve relationships with key media partners, by being the main contact and attending weekly calls.
Contribute into creative briefs and UGC selections for your key channels aligning with full funnel and activation calendars
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to expand upon and execute a first-party audience strategy that drives engagement and business outcomes
Collaborating with adtech to ensure that the MMP is set up to meet your optimisation and reporting needs.
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams across key projects such as campaign and creative performance and the building of measurement and testing frameworks.
Data exploration in order to further develop activity and troubleshoot any problems.
Working closely with our in-house Insights team and data visualisation tools, take ownership of app and video reporting and develop it to business requirements.
Identify and communicate insights cross-functionally to all levels of seniority.
Requirements:
Experience working in App and Video.
Previous experience on App business with MMP knowledge
Strong knowledge of Social and Video platforms.
Media buying experience (either agency or in-house) with a focus on Google ads, Meta and TikTok.
Analytical capabilities and Google Sheet / Excel literate with the ability to use data to answer business questions.
Proactive and eager to learn attitude, with the capacity for independent thinking.
Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Good attention to detail to ensure excellent implementation and execution of all campaigns.
Bonus:
Experience in boosting owned and 3rd party content across video platforms
Experience in implementing brand new strategies and scaling them to business goals
Experience in an marketplace or e-commerce model
Experience across multiple performance marketing channels outside of App and Video.
Worked in a fast paced growing business environment

Flex (Default)

Flex employees will be expected to work from the office at least 4 days per month. Teams will determine whether there are set weekly or monthly in-office days based on their operating rhythms and practices. Office Based

As part of taking on the Office Based working mode you will be able to apply for a permanent desk in the office if you need one, but you won’t need to apply to become an Office Based employee.
Remote

This mode requires around 2- 4 days per year in the office, depending on organisational guidance. You will be able to expense travel if you are asked to attend the office, but not for office attendance by your choice.
